about broken sparrow home

Mission Statement

The mission of Broken Sparrow, Inc. is to provide short-term care to medically fragile and/or disabled infants and children when they no longer need acute hospital care. This family centered home environment will promote a child’s optimal physical, mental, social, and spiritual growth and recovery.

What We Offer

  • Family-run home for 6 - 8 medically fragile and/or disabled children.

  • Life opportunities for children that could not be obtained in a hospital setting.

  • Qualified, caring staff trained to assist in their areas of expertise.

  • We work with each child’s Medical Providers, Family, and Care Coordinators to make sure the child receives maximum care.

Our Philosophy

Broken Sparrow, Inc. is a non-profit organization. We believe that all children are entitled to care that will restore the child to their optimum level of potential/function. Placing them in a less restrictive family environment while continuing their medical services will allow the children a more balanced lifestyle. All children will be treated with respect, and tolerance without regard to age, race, religion, culture and national origin.

“Not even a sparrow… can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it.” Matthew 10:28
